Flute

The flute, categorized as an aerophone instrument, falls under the woodwind family of musical instruments. Unlike other woodwinds, it produces sound through the flow of air across a sharp edge or lip, rather than using a reed. Flutes can be traditionally made from various materials such as metal, wood, or plastic. However, the concert , one of the most recognized types, is often crafted from silver or nickel-silver. This elegant instrument is divided into three primary sections: the headjoint, the body, and the footjoint. The headjoint features an embouchure hole through which the player directs their breath to initiate sound production.
